Scope of the Project
This project was for a repeat customer and went a little smoother.
We sent an email to the homeowner after some heavy hail and completed the inspection.
Once everything was in place, it was a straightforward install, with only a mid-roof inspection causing any delays.
Project Challenge
Insurance was a little easier because this was the second time we did the roof, so we knew what was preexisting. The challenges came from the mid-roof inspection, which requires a city inspector to come out before shingles are laid but after the underlayment is down to inspect. That caused minor delays, and the shutters were slightly more challenging to install than expected.
Our team discovered 3 layers of felt. They removed all of the old felt and installed new synthetic felt.
Actions Taken
After inspection, we could dive right into material orders and insurance because we already have measurements and colors.
Once we had everything scheduled, getting the work done was straightforward. The roof and gutters were completed within three days.
Final Results
Increase in home value with new roof and gutters, along with retaining a homeowner's business for years to come.
